10.Try not to discuss with the students at the examination center as the may try to demoralize you(many are just show off)..  Only those candidates who are declared to have qualified in the Preliminary Examination are declared to be eligible for admission to the Main Examination for that year.  The Main Examination comprises of written examination and personal interview.  The written exam consists of four compulsary papers (General English, General Essay, General Studies I, General Studies II) carrying 100 marks each and two optional subjects of two papers of 100 marks each.  Personal Interview also carry 100 marks..
